FIELD: rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rocket and space engineering and can be used in propulsion systems of rockets. The system for controlling the propulsion system of an aircraft with a pump-based system for supplying powdered metal to the combustion chamber includes a tank for gel-like fuel with a powdered metal additive; a hydraulic line between the tank and the combustion chamber, with a viscosity controller for the gel-like fuel located in front of the pumping unit; an electricity supply and chemical automation units. The control system also comprises a viscosity meter for the gel-like fuel, connected to the electricity source and installed in the hydraulic line between the viscosity controller and the pumping unit. The electrical output of the viscosity meter is linked with the starting apparatus of the pumping unit and the on/off valve on the hydraulic line via the chemical automation units.
EFFECT: development of the principles of constructing a system for controlling the propulsion system of an aircraft with a pump-based system for supplying powdered metal into the combustion chamber based on the existing range of means and methods for controlling the operation of LRE-based rocket propulsion systems.
