FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the creation of a microporous structure of a gold-based alloy with a high specific surface area, suitable for use in the field of catalysis, analytical chemistry, or for sensing elements of biosensors. Proposed is an electrochemical method including selective anodic dissolution of the Ag0.58Au0.37Pd0.05 alloy treated with an anodic current in a eutectic mixture of CsCl0.455KCl0.245NaCl0.30 + 3 mol.% of AgCl at a temperature from 500 to 700 °C; electrolysis is performed in a potentiostatic mode at a potential of 0.5 V relative to the reference silver chloride electrode Ag/LiCl0.57CsCl0.26KCl0.17 + 3 mol.% of AgCl.
EFFECT: creation of a stable microporous volumetric structure of a gold-based alloy.
