FIELD: polymer materials science.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer materials science and can be used as a wear-resistant polymer composite based on ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) for the manufacture of plain bearings in friction units of machines, mechanisms, wear-resistant linings, functional and structural products operating in abrasive wear mode in a hydrocarbon medium. This composition contains UHMWPE 95.0-99.8 wt.% and modifier - polymethylene-p-triphenyl ester of boric acid - 0.2-5.0 wt.%.
EFFECT: development of a structural and wear-resistant composite material with increased strength and wear-resistant properties.
