FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymer composition for tribotechnical purposes based on ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and can be used as a functional material for making plain bearings, shaft seals, linings used in machine building, automotive industry, conveyors and in various industries. Polymer composition for tribotechnical purpose based on ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene GUR-4022 (UHMWPE) contains a modifier which consists of a complex filler consisting of nanosized CuO and 2-mercaptobenzothiazole in a weight ratio of 2:1, at the following weight content of components, wt.%: UHMWPE 98.0, complex filler 2.0.
EFFECT: development of wear-resistant composite material for production of parts in friction assemblies, machines and other mechanisms, as well as in increase of strength, wear resistance and reliability of assemblies, reduction of intensity of mass wear of material.
