FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polymer material science, namely to a wear-resistant polymer composition of tribotechnical purpose, used for making friction bearings in friction assemblies of machines, mechanisms, for making wear-resistant lining used for facing mining and processing and mining equipment, wear-resistant articles of structural purpose, operating in mode of abrasive wear in medium of petroleum-oil, oil, lubricants, fuel, acids and alkalis. Polymer composition contains the following components, wt%: 90.0–99.5 of ultrahigh molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and 0.5–10.0 of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole as a modifier.
EFFECT: invention increases strength, wear resistance and reliability of parts of assemblies, reduces intensity of mass wear of material.
