SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to maxillofacial surgery, traumatology, and plastic surgery. The skin cover of the middle and lower areas of the face is degreased with a 70% ethyl alcohol solution. A bandage made in the form of separate kinesiological tapes is applied. The kinesiological tapes are is applied in the following order. A 50×25 mm tape is applied vertically in the mental region, centrally. A 150×25 mm tape is applied horizontally in the melomental fold region up to the parotideomasseteric region. A 150×25 mm tape with side recesses for the nose and upper lip made in the middle is applied horizontally above the upper lip up to the parotideomasseteric region. A 200×50 mm tape is applied from the submental region to the zygomatic regions on both sides. Herewith, two 150×50 mm tapes made with endwise recesses for the alae of the nose are applied diagonally from the infraorbital region and the upper border of the oral region up to the parotideomasseteric region and the anterior border of the sternocleidomastoid region on the right and on the left.

EFFECT: possibility of preventing the development and progression of postoperative oedema in the postoperative zone of the maxillofacial region.
