FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely, to maxillofacial surgery. The volume of the lesion is determined by visual and manual examination. Physical study is conducted. Individually modelled compression plates are used for compressing, wherefor the layout of the compression plates is marked according to the shape and size of the determined lesion. The silicone dental impression material SpeedexPutty is then mixed. The resulting mass of the material is applied to the skin within the established marking shape, and an individual outer compression plate 0.7 to 1 cm in thickness is manually modelled. After the outer plate has fully cured, sharp edges and sections are cut therefrom. The silicone dental impression material SpeedexPutty is then re-mixed, and an individual intraoral compression plate 0.7 to 1 cm in thickness is modelled, according to the shape and size of the lesion and the outer compression plate. After the intraoral plate has fully cured, sharp edges and sections are cut therefrom. The individually modelled compression plates are then applied in the marking area. Then a through puncture is made with a surgical needle in the outer compression plate, the underlying soft tissues, and the intraoral plate, until the needle reaches the oral cavity. In the oral cavity, the needle is rotated, and a puncture is made in the intraoral plate, the underlying tissues, and the outer compression plate, the suture length is 1 to 3 cm. Making the through sutures in the plates with the underlying tissues, the ends of the thread are left loose. The sutures are applied at a distance of at least 1 cm from each other. The skin is then punctured by each suture to the depth of the lesion using an injection syringe, and a sclerosic agent - 70% ethyl alcohol - is injected to the area of one suture, as calculated for the distribution of the sclerosic agent of no more than 1 ml per 1 cm2 area from each stitch. The sclerosic agent is injected in the area of all the created sutures. After the injection of the sclerosic agent is complete, the ends of the thread are tied into a surgical knot, wherein the first knot is retained so as not to come loose.
EFFECT: increase in the effectiveness of sclerosing therapy of volumetric venous and lymphovenous malformations of the middle and lower parts of the face, reduction in the number of treatment stages, and improved functional and aesthetic effects of the treatment.
