SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical activity on the profile of maxillofacial surgery. Bandage is applied in the form of separate kinesiological tapes. Kinesiological tapes are applied in the following sequence. Tape 120 mm long and 45 mm wide is cut lengthwise into three equal lengths, leaving the base of the kinesiological tape intact. Base is equal to 30x45 mm. Base is fixed in the supraclavicular fossa, from where the first kinesiological tape section is delivered and fixed at the level of the ear tragus. Second section of the kinesiological tape is placed in the middle of the cheek. Third section of the kinesiological tape is attached in the region of the nasolabial fold. Thus, the distance between the kinesiological tape segments is 15 mm, and all the segments are fixed with tension of 25% of the maximum. Thereafter, the contact of the kinesiological dressing with the skin surface is manually increased by smoothing. This manipulation is performed on both sides of the face and neck.

EFFECT: method enables to prevent progression of postoperative oedema in the middle and lower thirds of maxillofacial area.
