FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry, in particular to the study of simultaneously produced water during oil preparation, namely to isolation, identification, and quantitative determination of high-molecular compounds; it can be used in regular and unscheduled works for maintenance of an oil-producing well, as well as it can serve as a guide, when selecting necessary reagents of oilfield chemicals. In a method for monitoring of polymers in simultaneously produced water of an oil-producing well, an aqueous phase is isolated from an initial liquid sample containing oil and aqueous phases, the aqueous phase is partially vaporized at 65-70°C, then, the resulting concentrated solution is purified by dialysis against deionized water for up to two days, while dialysis duration and frequency of replacement of deionized water depend on mineralization of the initial concentrated solution, the resulting purified solution is vaporized dry at 65-70°C, the prepared sample is weighted, and its analysis is carried out, for which a suspension of the prepared sample is isolated, dissolved in water, and, by high-efficient liquid chromatography (HELC) method, a concentration and molecular-weight distribution of low-molecular and high-molecular compounds in the sample are determined, identification of high-molecular compounds – polymers included in the sample is carried out by IR spectroscopy and pyrolytic chromate-mass-spectroscopy methods, in case of the need for confirmation of the presence of heteroatoms in studied samples of polymers, analysis is carried out by energy-dispersion X-ray-fluorescent method.

EFFECT: provision of determination of a quantitative and qualitative composition of polymers present in simultaneously produced water of an oil-producing well with simultaneous expansion of the range of controlled high-molecular compounds, increase in the accuracy and reliability of determination of their content.
