FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, namely, to non-magnetic high-strength steels, and can be used in the gas and petroleum industry. Steel contains carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulphur, chromium, molybdenum, nickel, nitrogen, aluminium, copper, cobalt, vanadium, calcium, strontium, barium, niobium, and iron at the following ratio of components, wt.%: carbon up to 0.05, silicon up to 0.3, manganese 18.0 to 20.0, phosphorus up to 0.03, sulphur up to 0.005, chromium 15.5 to 17.5, molybdenum 2.4 to 2.8, nickel 4.2 to 5.0, nitrogen 0.4 to 0.5, aluminium up to 0.3, copper up to 0.7, cobalt up to 0.03, calcium 0.003 to 0.01, strontium 0.001 to 0.01, barium 0.001 to 0.01, niobium 0.01 to 0.05, vanadium 0.01 to 0.05, iron the rest.
EFFECT: steel has the required high level of strength characteristics with associated preservation of plasticity.
