FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies for producing hydrogen from a solid hydrogen-generating composition containing magnesium hydride, acid and a binding component. A composition for saturation of products with hydrogen containing magnesium in the form of magnesium hydride with the chemical formula (MgH2): ionic hydride, a binding component and at least one acid is proposed, while all components are made crushed and taken in powder form, and an ingredient selected from a group of plants containing natural inulin. The objective of the invention is to develop a composition for hydrogen saturation of products, namely food products. The composition of the invention contains an acid, at least one from the group of edible acids acceptable for use in the food industry, as well as in pharmacology, cosmetology and medicine. Citric (or succinic) acid is used as a food acid to regulate the acidity of food products, and also as a food additive. As a binding component, a plant fiber containing inulin as the main active ingredient with prebiotic properties was introduced into the composition of the claimed composition. In the composition for the saturation of products with hydrogen, the dietary fiber of the chicory plant or the Jerusalem artichoke plant, namely the underground part of the plants in the form of tubers, is taken.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of solutions for saturating foodstuffs with hydrogen.
