FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering, in particular to converters intended for transformation of mechanical energy into electric energy due to electrostatic forces of Coulomb attraction between opposite sign charges. A capacity type generator with galvanic isolation and a power adjustment device (hereinafter – CTG) contains at least one variable resistor included in a power circuit of a variable capacitor (hereinafter – VC) with excitation charges in a self-excitation mode.

EFFECT: possibility of effective control of power of CTG by adjustment of a value of excitation charges and excitation voltage on VC in a mode of self-excitation of charges on VC; it also allows for stabilization of CTG power regardless a frequency of change in VC capacity.
