FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and is intended for transformation of electrical energy into mechanical and reverse conversion due to electrostatic forces of Coulomb attraction between charges of opposite signs. Capacitive electric machine (CEM) can be used in industry and engineering as electric motors and generators in the widest fields.
EFFECT: invention allows galvanic decoupling of electromechanical part of CEM, where high voltage may occur, from load circuit or power supply source, as a result of which reliability of device is increased, it is possible to reduce need for generation of excitation charges required for operation of CEM, which increases power and efficiency of device.
