FIELD: maintenance.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to maintenance of systems of inertial navigation and stabilization (hereinafter – SINS) based on two-stage float gyroscopes. A state of a gas-dynamic support of a rotor of each gyroscope is diagnosed due to determination of run-down time of gyroscopes in SINS and their comparison with a permissible value of run-down time, calculated taking into account conducted SINS launches.
EFFECT: diagnostics of the current state of gas-dynamic supports of gyroscopes in SINS by dynamics of change in run-down time during the operation, taking into account a number of launches of gyroscopes, and, consequently, increase in the reliability of quality control of the current state of gas-dynamic supports of two-stage float gyroscopes.
