FIELD: oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the oil industry and is intended for the extraction of oil from wells, complicated by the removal of sand. A downhole pumping unit with a sand screen contains a sucker rod pump lowered on a tubing string and capable of being driven through the sucker rod string. An anchored sand filter consists of a branch pipe with a packer, a check valve located inside and a sand filter with a container attached from below. The sand anchor is below the outlet, but above the packer, and is provided with a plate on the outside for sedimentation of sand from the fluid stream on top. The downhole pump inlet is located at a distance from the sand filter outlet, which ensures the lowest possible sand and liquid entrainment, when the sand settling rate is higher than the fluid flow rate.
EFFECT: preventing sand from settling on the packer and entering the pump inlet.
