PUMPING UNIT FOR EXPLOITATION OF FORMATIONS COMPLICATED BY SAND PRODUCTION WITH RESERVOIR PRESSURE GROWING FROM BOTTOM TO TOP Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC E21B43/14 F04B47/02

Abstract RU 2799221 C1

FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the simultaneous separate operation of several productive layers of one well by pumping units. A pumping unit is claimed, including a downhole pump controlled from the wellhead, a string of lift pipes, a sand anchor at the pump intake, a packer installed above the upper formation and connected to the sand anchor container through a perforated pipe. At the same time, a non-return valve is installed between the perforated pipe and the packer, and additional upper sand anchors with a container are installed below the packer. From below, at least one additional lower packer installed between the exposed layers, the lower additional sand anchor with the lower container are connected in series to the container of the additional upper anchor through an additional perforated pipe. An additional check valve is installed inside the corresponding additional perforated pipe and the packer. Above each packer, below the corresponding check valve, a cuff is installed from the outside, protecting the packer from sedimented mechanical impurities and sand. And above each check valve there is a protective cup with side holes, which ensures the exclusion of sedimentation of mechanical impurities and sand on the check valve, while the flow rate of the fluid produced by the well pump outside the cup is greater than the flow rate inside the cup. The well pump has a capacity not less than the total productivity of all layers to ensure the possibility of exploiting all the layers penetrated by the well. Additional check valves are controlled, with the opening pressure that makes it possible to exclude fluid overflows from the lower reservoir to the upper one when the well pump is idle.

EFFECT: creation of a pumping unit for the operation of formations complicated by sand production, with formation pressure growing from the bottom up, which makes it possible to expand the scope of application due to the possibility of operating several formations, excluding the deposition of mechanical impurities and sand from above on the check valves and the packer and, as a result, carrying out continuous production of products from all layers, as well as allowing for trouble-free removal of the packers of the device when removing the pumping unit from the well.
