METHOD FOR OBTAINING PHOUSHORS BASED ON STRONTIUM ALUMINATE WITH EUROPIUM AND DYSPROSIUM BY CODEPOSITION METHOD Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC C09K11/80 C09K11/78 C09K11/55

Abstract RU 2784921 C1

FIELD: inorganic chemistryю

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to inorganic chemistry and can be used in photoluminescent evacuation systems, luminescent paints or plastics. First, nitric acid or chloride solutions containing aluminum, strontium, europium and dysprosium are prepared. Then a common solution is prepared by mixing them so that the molar ratio of aluminum and strontium ions is 2:1, and the content of europium and dysprosium ions is 0.75 wt.% and 1.5 wt.% in terms of oxides, respectively. In addition, a precipitant solution is prepared with an ammonia concentration of 1 mol/dm3 and ammonium carbonate of 3 mol/dm3. Co-precipitation is carried out by simultaneously dosing the resulting common solution and the precipitant solution into the total reaction volume with constant stirring and maintaining a constant pH value selected from the range of values from 8 to 9 throughout the entire precipitation due to automatic control of the precipitant solution supply rate. The resulting suspension is filtered, the precipitate is dried at a temperature of 150°C to a constant weight of the powder. The dried powder is calcined in an air atmosphere at 1200-1650°C for 2 hours and then in a hydrogen reducing atmosphere at 600°C for 2 hours.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a single-phase phosphor based on strontium aluminate containing europium and dysprosium, with a long yellow-green afterglow and with an average particle size of 20-30 mcm, and also to simplify the technology for its production by reducing the number of technological operations.
