FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of electric polishing of internal surfaces of parts from metals and alloys and can be used for machining hollow blades of turbomachines, as well as cavities of parts obtained by selective sintering methods to improve their operational characteristics. Method involves placing an electrode and an electroconductive medium in the inner cavity of the part, providing contact of the electroconductive medium with the electrode and the treated surface of the part, supply of electric potential of opposite sign to part and conducting medium through electrode introduced into medium. Electroconductive medium used is granules of anionites and a flexible cord with a brush-like auger shell made of anionites, note here that said granules and shell are impregnated with electrolyte to allow electric conductivity of granules and shell and metal ion entrainment from part inner surface with removal of microprojections. A flexible electrode is used, which is located inside the screw shell of the cord, which prevents direct contact between the flexible electrode and the processed surface of the part.

EFFECT: higher quality and reliability of polishing the internal surface of parts, especially hard-to-reach cavities of complex shape, such as the internal cavities of turbine blades.
