FIELD: electropolishing of surfaces of turbine blades.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of electropolishing the surface of parts made of metals and alloys and can be used to treat the surfaces of turbine blades to improve their performance. The method involves immersing the part in a conductive medium of anionite granules impregnated with an electrolyte solution that provides ionic removal of metal from the surface of the part with the removal of micro-steps when an electric potential opposite in sign is applied to the part and the conductive medium through an external electrode inserted into the medium. In this case, the external electrode is made in the form of a radial paddle wheel, which, rotating, ensures the capture and movement of anionite granules relative to the workpiece surface. The unit contains electrical power sources, a control unit, a working container with anionite granules and an external electrode providing electrical contact with anionite granules, and at least one holder of the workpiece, made with the possibility of placing the part in the medium of anionite granules and moving the anionite granules relative to the surface to be processed.

EFFECT: invention enables to improve the quality and reliability of surface treatment of a metal part by increasing the uniformity of its surface treatment, reducing the likelihood of defects.
