FIELD: heat engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat engineering, namely to evaporators for heat pumps. The heat pump evaporator includes a monolithic aluminum finned heat exchanger, in which ice removal is ensured by mechanical vibrations caused by pulsed changes in the linear dimensions of the magnetostrictor core attached to the lower end of the heat exchanger, causing resonance of the heat exchanger design. The ribs are made in such a way that the angle between adjacent ribs is rounded.
EFFECT: ensuring the removal of ice from the evaporator with minimal energy consumption.
