FIELD: engine building.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus for heating fuel in a hydromechanical nozzle of a diesel engine comprises a nozzle with an electric heater. The heating element is placed directly in the nozzle rod (12), for the purpose whereof the inner part of the rod (12) is drilled to the entire length except for the bottom, wherein a ball (13) is pressed into said bottom from the outside on the side of the sprayer. The heating element is laid in the cavity formed on the other side of the rod (12). One end of the element is welded to the lower part of the rod (12), the other end is welded to the connector (4). The cavity accommodating the heating element is insulated with magnesium oxide. The heater connector (4) enters the matching connector of the compensator current collector consisting of an internal and an external sleeves. The sleeves are interconnected by a spring. The second end of the compensator current collector rests on the plate of the external connector (4) installed in the upper part of the cap and isolated therefrom by means of an insulating sleeve, a washer, and adhesive. A drainage hole is located on the side surface of the nozzle.
EFFECT: reduced emission of hazardous substances in the post-launch heat-up period.
