FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines (ICE) fuel supply systems and can be used for ICE preparation for start-up, their further effective post-start-up warm-up and maintenance of optimum thermal mode during operation in different climatic conditions. Disclosed is a device for heating fuel in a hydromechanical nozzle of a diesel ICE in the pre-start and post-start periods, comprising heating element 10 placed directly on the tip of the sprayer, which also serves as a heat accumulator, and pin heater 20 installed in the main fuel channel of nozzle body 1, isolated from nozzle body 1 by heat insulation 4. To control the operation of the fuel heating device in the injector using the on-board computer, a thermocouple is installed in the injector housing, it controls fuel temperature in sprayer annular groove. At that, only one injector with thermocouple is installed on diesel ICE.
EFFECT: device provides reliable start-up of ICE at low temperatures and reduces harmful emissions into environment.
