FIELD: heating.
SUBSTANCE: proposed are a heating element, method for the manufacture and application thereof. Heating element including a substrate and a coating applied to the outer surface of the substrate; wherein the substrate includes a solid phase and a homogeneous phase; the solid phase includes single-phase ceramics or multiphase ceramics, and the homogeneous phase includes one type of metal or a metal alloy; the coating is intended to prevent oxidation of the heating element. Method for manufacturing the heating element includes the following stages: (1) producing a single-phase or multiphase ceramic powder and a powder of one type of metal or a metal alloy; (2) producing a powdered mixture by means of ball grinding of the single-phase or multiphase ceramic powder, powder of one type of metal or a metal alloy, and a powdered additive; (3) producing a granular powder by drying the powdered mixture; (4) creating the substrate by subjecting the granular powder to pressure moulding and sintering; (5) creating the heating element by applying the coating to the substrate surface. Also proposed is an application of the heating element in a heater for a new type of tobacco products.
EFFECT: heating element is characterised by high antioxidative properties, stable quality, and high uniformity of heating; the process of manufacture is simple, effective, and cost-efficient.
