FIELD: medicine; ultrasound diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to ultrasound diagnostics; it can be used for differential diagnostics of atherosclerotic and diabetic angionephrosclerosis. An indicator G: G=F⋅(A+B+C)/(D+E) is calculated, where A is an indicator of total cholesterol, B is a thickness of an intima-media complex, C is the patient’s age, D is a difference between angles of inclination of wash-in rate (WiR) of “time-intensity” curves with pathology and in a healthy person, E is a difference between indicators of a peak value of accumulation of a contrast preparation on “intensity-time” curves in pathology and in a healthy person, F is a coefficient equal to 10. When G > 10, atherosclerotic angionephrosclerosis is diagnosed. When G < 10, diabetic angionephrosclerosis is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method provides a possibility of differential diagnostics of atherosclerotic and diabetic angionephrosclerosis due to the claimed diagnostic indicator.
