FIELD: hydrocarbons analysis.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the study or analysis of hydrocarbons by determining their chemical or physical properties. The invention relates to a method for estimating the group hydrocarbon composition (HCC) of straight-run petroleum fractions, comprising the steps at which: refractive indices are measured using a refractometer, density values using a densimeter, temperature values for the selection of oil fractions using a temperature sensor at different levels of an atmospheric or vacuum distillation column or measuring refractive indices with an in-line refractometer, density values with an in-line densimeter, temperature values with an oil flow temperature sensor; calculate the values of specific refraction and reciprocal density for each oil fraction using a data processing tool, preliminarily determine the values of specific refraction and reciprocal density for temperature paraffin, naphthenic and aromatic reference points for all temperature intervals of the analyzed oil fractions using a data processing tool, using a processing tool data, the mass fractions of paraffins, naphthenes and aromatic hydrocarbons for each temperature fraction are determined using a system of three linear equations, including the additivity equation for the mass fractions of components for the specific refraction of the oil fraction, the additivity equation for the reciprocal density of the oil fraction and the normalization equation, reflecting that the sum of all group components is 1.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of evaluating and visualizing chemical-analytical information about the HCC of oil fractions in real time, simplifying the process of estimating the HCC.
