SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an optical element, a method, and a system for monitoring of an optical element. According to the invention, monitoring is carried out in real time to determine, whether the optical element, such as a diffraction optical element or a diffusor in an active light-emitting module, is damaged, and a laser is turned off, when the optical element is damaged or operates inefficiently, thereby avoiding seepage of laser light. The system for monitoring of the optical element includes sequentially connected optical element (11) and microprocessor (13), power supply source (2), and laser (12). In optical element (11), detection line (11-1) is located, and two ends of detection line (11-1) are connected to microprocessor (13). Microprocessor (13) is made with the possibility of: tracking of a resistance value of detection line (11-1) or a voltage value at two ends of detection line (11-1) in real time, determination, based on the tracked resistance value or voltage value, whether optical element (11) is damaged or operates inefficiently, and, when determining that optical element (11) is damaged or operates inefficiently, control of power supply source (2) for termination of power supply to laser (12).
