FIELD: medical technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical technology, namely to a method for the treatment of malignant tumors by means of conformal contact thermal ablation using an implant that contains a cavity filled with a heat-releasing agent. The heat-releasing agent is a non-magnetic liquid low-melting metal alloy. The implant follows the shape of the tumor. The implant is heated to a temperature of 50-70°C for 3-5 minutes. Temperature control is carried out due to the connection of the inductor control system with temperature sensors.
EFFECT: reduction of the tumor volume during its direct heating or a significant reduction in the risk of recurrence during heating of the resected tumor bed.
