METHOD FOR IMMUNOLOGICAL DIAGNOSIS OF BRUCELLOSIS Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC G01N33/569 G01N33/68

Abstract RU 2785906 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to laboratory diagnostics, and can be used for the immunological diagnosis of acute and chronic brucellosis in humans in vitro. The level of interferon-gamma produced by sensitized blood T-lymphocytes is analyzed by ELISA in response to specific ex vivo stimulation with brucellosis antigen. The level of interferon-gamma X content is calculated by the formula: , where: X is the test result, IU/ml; C is the values, pkg/ml obtained during the analysis of the background sample; D is the values, pkg/ml obtained during the analysis of the test sample. If the X value is more than 1.0 IU/ml, brucellosis is diagnosed.

EFFECT: present invention enables to diagnose acute and chronic brucellosis regardless of the presence and level of seroconversion, due to the ability to quantify the intensity of T-cell-mediated sensitization by determining the level of interferon-gamma produced by T-lymphocytes sensitized to brucellosis antigen.
