FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport engineering, in particular to off-road vehicles, and can be used as a supporting element of the chassis of a wheelchair, including for overcoming the last flights of stairs for general use. In a wheel with built-in suspension, consisting of a hub and a rim with a pneumatic tire, connected by means of elastomeric tapes, the multilayer tape is made in the form of a ring with a convex-concave three-wave contour, the inner part of which is fixed on the hub, and the outer part is fixed on the rim of the pneumatic tire. In this case, the multilayer tape ring can be made according to the tape in the tape scheme and/or one tape wound many times.
EFFECT: simplification of the wheel design for overcoming obstacles in the form of ditches, thresholds, curbs, scarps, including flights of stairs for general use.
