ELECTRO-HYDRAULIC MIXER-DISPERSER Russian patent published in 2022 - IPC B01F33/40 B01F25/10 B01F23/411

Abstract RU 2786290 C1

FIELD: metallurgical industry, the chemical industry and water treatment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mixers for mixing and dispersing suspensions and can be used in the metallurgical industry, the chemical industry and in water treatment. The electro-hydraulic stirrer-disperser consists of a vertical body, on which is mounted a cylinder-shaped electric discharge cell immersed in a liquid, which includes two electrodes of different polarity connected to a high-voltage power source, the first electrode being made in the form of a conductor enclosed in a tube of insulating gas-tight material with working end directed downwards, and is configured to purge its working end with gas, and the second electrode is located at the bottom in the center of the inwardly concave perforated bottom of the electric discharge cell to create an additional cavitation zone at the focus of the concave bottom below the electric discharge cell, and its working end is directed upwards and electrically connected to the electric discharge cell, the first electrode is fixed in the center below the block of vertical parallel tubes enclosed in the housing of the electro-hydraulic mixer-disperser and having these tubes outlet sideways from the vertical housing of the mixer-disperser above the level nya liquid to move the liquid up and sideways due to the entrainment of the liquid upward by gas bubbles on the airlift effect and the effect of periodic electro-hydraulic shocks in the liquid. When the upper electrode of the electric discharge cell is blown with gas, its insulation is protected from the consequences of an electrohydraulic shock, and the suspension is also carried upwards by gas bubbles for airlift moving it up and sideways, at the same time, suspensions are treated with an electrohydraulic shock in three zones - directly in the electric discharge zone and in cavitation zones at the focus of the concave bottom below the electric discharge cell and behind the holes in the side wall of the electric discharge cell.

EFFECT: pumping, mixing and dispersing the suspension in an electro-hydraulic agitator-disperser without the use of moving parts with a built-in function of removing suspension deposits in the agitator due to the effect of periodic electro-hydraulic shocks in the liquid.
