FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method comprises affecting materials in tank with fluid by series of electro hydraulic impacts. Material with inert liquid is arranged at vessel top part on dispersion device elastic membrane that divides the vessel into two parts, while bottom part accommodates electrically conducting fluid to receive electrodes. Suspension is separated by pulses, after electric discharge. Note here that separation of crushed nanoparticles by mean diametre is made by extracting obtained suspension allowing for high-voltage discharge repetition rate, suspension extraction point and rate. Inert fluid represents incombustible or inflammable liquid, while water may make electrodes. Top part of dispersion vessel incorporates tube to replenish dispersed fluid and tube moving relative to membrane in height to discharge finished powder suspension. Vessel lower part semi-spherical bottom with dispersion device discharge electrodes arranged at the bottom focus. Vessel may represent cylindrical barrel while membrane may be made from oil- and gas-proof rubber. Electric discharge source may be arranged outside the vessel.

EFFECT: wide range of dispersing fluids to produce nanopowders with separation of nanopowder particles by their mean diametre.
