SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of wireless measuring instruments. This effect is achieved in that the method includes obtaining an analogue reference clock signal containing an electrically compatible signal received from the radio unit, wherein the reference clock generator with a given frequency is programmed to periodically turn on the measuring unit connected to the radio unit at a given frequency, receiving a set of packets data from the user device UE, and the set of data packets contains data channels, control channels and signals, decoding the clock signal and synchronizing the clock frame with the internal clock signal of the measuring unit, capturing the wireless RF signal transmitted and received by the radio unit, based on the decoded clock frame synchronizing and decoding a set of data packets for diagnosing and correcting one or more faults at the method level during the deployment and maintenance of a cellular network.

EFFECT: providing the possibility of receiving a clock signal provided by the radio unit for time synchronization of the measuring equipment with the radio frequency signal transmitted by the radio unit.
