SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing (E)-2-(7-methoxy-1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-prop-2-ene-nitrile (nitrile-stilbene - compound A- 104815), which consists in the fact that 4-methoxybenzaldehyde and 3-methoxy-(4,5-methylenedioxy)benzyl alcohol are used as the starting compound, which is chlorinated, then the halogen is replaced by the nitrile group, and the resulting derivative is fused with 4-methoxybenzaldehyde with the formation of compound A-104815.
EFFECT: development of a method for obtaining compound A-104815 with a high yield, which can be used in medicine for tumor chemotherapy.
