FIELD: energy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of energy and is intended for use in nuclear energy, nuclear power plants with water-cooled reactors. The method for increasing the maneuverability of a nuclear power plant is to accumulate unclaimed electricity during load failure hours in the form of hydrogen and oxygen due to the splitting of water into constituent elements in an electrolysis plant. During peak load hours, hydrogen from the H2 storage, together with air from the compressor, is fed into the hydrogen combustion chamber of the hydrogen gas turbine plant for combustion. The resulting combustible mixture is sent to a hydrogen gas turbine to generate additional electricity in an electric generator. Hot gases are sent to the gas-water heat exchanger to transfer heat to the feed water, which is supplied to the gas-water heat exchanger from the deaerator, bypassing the high-pressure heaters.
EFFECT: invention improves the environmental friendliness of the production of peak electricity.
