FIELD: hydraulic systems safety equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of safety equipment in the hydraulic systems of pipelines tying automobile tankers and tankers. The double-acting safety valve consists of a body, sealing rings, a valve, a base cover, a screw, a spring, a gasket. The valve body is made integral in the form of a hollow cylinder with an annular bore for the seat of the pump housing and with an annular valve surface with an area equal to the surface area of the valve bottom. On the seating surface of the hollow cylinder of the valve, which has a larger diameter, two grooves are made with the possibility of installing sealing rings to fix them when the valve moves. Inside the hollow cylinder of the valve, a spring is installed with the possibility of pressing it with a support cover by means of screws to the seat in the wall of the pump casing separating the working cavities of the pump. The support cover is made with a recess with the possibility of fixing the spring. A gasket is installed between the housing and the base cover.
