FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the woodworking industry, in particular to sawmill equipment. The cutting unit of the circular saw machine contains a saw shaft, support and clamping flanges, a circular saw equipped with non-ferromagnetic annular elements with high electrical conductivity and which is the rotor of the drive linear motor. Ring non-ferromagnetic elements are located on the saw blade coaxially in the amount of at least two and are connected by radial non-ferromagnetic jumpers with high electrical conductivity.
EFFECT: torque of the linear electric drive of the saw increases, the reliability of the cutting unit of the circular saw increases.
