SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of industrial automatic control, to a control and measuring installation for the state of contacts of discrete signal channels and the method for its operation. This installation includes: discrete signal generation unit, signal acquisition unit, signal processing unit, display unit. The output of the digital signal generation unit is connected to the input of the signal acquisition unit, the output of the signal acquisition unit is connected to the input of the signal processing unit, the output of the signal processing unit is connected to the input of the display unit. The discrete signal generation unit provides the generation of voltage signals depending on the state of the discrete signal channel, the direction of these voltage signals to the signal acquisition unit, which is designed to collect voltage signals from the discrete signal unit circuit and carry out their amplifying operational processing, directing them to the signal processing unit.

EFFECT: increase in the accuracy and speed of determining the states of discrete signal channels, simplification of design and operation.
