FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of lubricating materials, namely to a method for the production of organic salts having anti-wear activity, intended for their introduction into a composition of lubricating compositions based on silicone base oils. A method is described for the production of an anti-wear additive, which is quaternary ammonium salt of dialkyldithiocarbamic acid, having the following structure:,

where R, R1-R5 is a hydrocarbon radical with a number of carbon atoms from 2 to 10. For the production of the additive, (a) a sodium hydroxide solution is mixed, with intensive mixing in an inert gas medium, with diamine, and the resulting mixture is cooled to 10°C; (b) to the mixture obtained at the stage a), carbon disulfide CS2 is added in drops at a rate providing maintenance of the temperature of the mixture of not higher than 10°C, and the resulting mixture is kept at a room temperature and mixing for at least one hour; (c) a tetraalkylammonium chloride solution in n-hexane is added at a temperature of 45°C to the mixture obtained at the stage (b); (d) the resulting mixture is kept under intensive mixing until light yellow oil is formed; (e) the resulting oil is separated from an aqueous layer by decanting, (f) solvent residues are removed from oil by evaporation to obtain a target product – quaternary ammonium salt of dialkyldithiocarbamic acid.

EFFECT: implementation of the invention provides improved anti-wear properties of lubricating materials (oils and plastic lubricants) obtained based on silicone base oils by more than 50%, when additives based on quaternary ammonium salt of dialkyldithiocarbamic acid are introduced into their composition.
