METHOD FOR ASSESSMENT OF HUMAN COGNITIVE AND MOTOR FUNCTIONS, USING INVERTED VISION Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B5/16 A61B5/11 A63B22/00

Abstract RU 2787454 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to a method for assessment of human cognitive and motor functions, using inverted vision. When implementing the method, a research session is carried out by means of light sensors-indicators. Indicators are activated-turned on in turn. At the same time, a participant deactivates-turns off the specified light indicators by hand. A time interval of a hand movement from an initial position to the presented light signal and a return movement are recorded. The specified session is carried out initially in conditions of a normally oriented field of view, and in conditions of a vertically inverted field of view, using a corresponding optical device. The assessment of participant’s cognitive and motor functions is carried out by recording and/or interpretation of at least one of following indicators: an average value of time of a reaction to a stimulus, a calculated coefficient of curvature of a reaction trend, time of the first reactions.

EFFECT: method for assessment of human cognitive and motor functions and neuroplasticity is provided, which can be used as a criterion for assessment of the specified functions in human sports and professional activities.
