One leech is placed on the mucous membrane of the perianal zone and the time of post-leech bleeding is determined. Adaptation to the effects of medical leeches is carried out by placing one leech on the mucous membrane of the perianal zone, in which, for 10-30 consecutive sessions, blood loss from one wound after blood sucking is 2-4 ml and is determined by the volume of blood in the intestine of the leech after blood sucking, and then treatment is carried out. For adults and children over 7 years of age during adaptation, adaptation sessions are carried out on the basis of taking into account the duration of post-leech bleeding from the perianal mucosa at the first session with the following frequency: with the duration of post-leech bleeding from 8 to 10 hours - daily; from 10 to 12 hours - every other day; from 12 to 14 hours - after 2 days on the third; from 14 to 16 hours - after 3 days on the fourth; more than 16 hours - after 4 days on the fifth. For children under 7 years of age during adaptation, adaptation sessions are carried out on the basis of taking into account the duration of post-leech bleeding from the perianal mucosa at the first session with the following frequency: with the duration of post-leech bleeding from 8 to 10 hours - every other day; from 10 to 12 hours - after 2 days on the third; from 12 to 14 hours - after 3 on the fourth day; from 14 to 16 hours - after 4 days on the fifth; more than 16 hours - after 5 days on the sixth.

EFFECT: method provides safe and effective treatment even in cases of severe pathologies without the development of side reactions and minimizes blood loss resulting from post-leech bleeding by adapting to the effects of medical leeches.
