SUBSTANCE: method for control of heating in aerosol generating system (100) containing heater (119) includes: the first control stage, at which set power is supplied to heater (119), and resistance of heater (119) is determined, wherein certain resistance indicates a heater temperature; a set condition is tracked, and, when the set condition is detected, resistance of heater (119) is registered; target resistance (RT) is determined, corresponding to a target temperature of heater (119), based on registered resistance; and the second control stage, at which power supplied to heater (119) is adapted in a controllable way to bring resistance of heater (119) to target resistance (RT), and, thus, heater (119) is brought to the target temperature corresponding to target resistance (RT).
EFFECT: obtainment of an aerosol generating system with controllable heating.
