FIELD: tobacco industry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an electric aerosol generating system, a method for control of power supply to a heating element in an electric aerosol generating system, and a microprocessor. The electric aerosol generating system contains a heating element for heating aerosol forming substrate near the heating element; a power supply source for power supply to the heating element, and an electrical circuit connected to the heating element and the power supply source. The electrical circuit contains memory, and it is made with the possibility of: adjustment of power supply to the heating element during a set of discrete heating cycles in response to user inputs; determination of the maximum electrical resistance of the heating element during each heating cycle; calculation of a sliding average value of the maximum electrical resistance of the heating element for n previous heating cycles, where n is an integer more than 1; comparison of electrical resistance of the heating element with the calculated sliding average value; determination of an unfavorable condition, if electrical resistance is greater than the sliding average value for more than a threshold value stored in memory; and control of power supply to the heating element based on that, whether there is an unfavorable condition on the heating element, or provision of indication based on that, whether there is an unfavorable condition on the heating element.
EFFECT: possibility of prevention of creation of aerosol, which does not have required properties.
