FIELD: ultrasonic non-destructive quality control.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for ultrasonic non-destructive quality control of glass-reinforced plastics after impregnation with organosilicon resins. The substance of the invention lies in the fact that the pulses of ultrasonic vibrations are emitted by the emitter, the pulses transmitted in the product are received by the receiver, the velocity of propagation of longitudinal ultrasonic waves at a frequency of 1 to 20 MHz, propagating along the normal to the plane of the fiberglass reinforcement, is measured, while measuring the velocity of ultrasonic waves are carried out after curing of the binder and again after impregnation with organosilicon resin and its polymerization, followed by quality control of fiberglass impregnation with organosilicon resin by the magnitude of the change in the speed of ultrasonic waves.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of ultrasonic non-destructive quality control of impregnation of fiberglass products with organosilicon resins after their molding and curing of the binder.
