FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for the manufacture of radio-transparent materials used in aviation, aerospace engineering and radio engineering industry. The composition for the production of fiberglass is described, including an organosilicon binder, consisting of an organosilicon resin, a solvent and a curing accelerator, and a quartz fabric, characterized in that its components are taken in the following ratio, wt.%: organosilicon binder (in terms of dry matter) 26 -30; quartz fabric - 70-74; whereas in the organosilicon binder, organosilicon resin K-9 is used as an organosilicon resin, acetone is used as a solvent, and ADE-3 (diethylaminomethyltriethoxysilane) is used as a curing accelerator in the following ratio in parts by weight: resin K-9 100 ; acetone 25-40; product ADE-3 0.1-0.2. A method is also described for manufacturing products from glass-reinforced plastics formed from the composition indicated above, including the manufacture of a fabric package, impregnation with a binder, moulding of a workpiece, followed by curing of the binder, characterized in that the impregnation of the fabric package is carried out with an organosilicon binder, whereas before curing the polymer binder in the impregnated the workpiece is dried at 105-125°C for at least 2 hours until a constant mass of the workpiece is reached, and curing in a heating cabinet with known process parameters, namely: 200±5°C under the action of overpressure 0.6-0.8 MPa for 10±0.5 hours, followed by cooling together with a heating cabinet to ambient temperature.
EFFECT: obtaining a product with high solidity, high density, minimum possible porosity.
