SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of absorption purification of hydrocarbon gases from impurities of carbon dioxide and methanol with liquid absorbents and can be used in the gas industry. A method is proposed for removing methanol from an amine solution coming after absorption extraction of carbon dioxide and methanol from natural gas, which includes separating the amine solution, carbon dioxide impurities and methanol in a regenerator column, cooling the resulting vapors from the top of the regenerator column and separating acid gases from liquid phase returned to the regenerator column as reflux. At the same time, fuel gas is supplied to the bottom of the regenerator column in an amount determined by calculation depending on the amount of methanol in the amine solution.
EFFECT: reduction of energy costs for the regeneration of the amine solution.
