FIELD: light engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to light engineering, namely to means for power supply of LEDs connected to an alternating voltage source. A lighting device contains a two-semi-period AC rectifier, sequentially connected LEDs split in groups from 1st to nth and powered with rectified voltage, controllable DC sources connected to cathodes of last LEDs in groups from 1st to nth group from one side and to AC rectifier minus from the other side, capacitors connected via rectifying diodes to cathodes of last LEDs in groups from 1st to nth group, as well as to anodes of the first LEDs in groups from 1st to nth group via rectifying diodes from one side and to controllable charging current sources from the other side, a control circuit setting required values of currents of current sources, forming control signals for connection or disconnection of DC sources and sources of capacitor charge current, and providing sequential connection of groups, when increasing, or disconnection of groups, when decreasing rectified voltage.
EFFECT: reduction in light flux pulsations, reduction in emission of harmonic components of current, with high performance.
