FIELD: electrical engineering and power industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and power industry. The energy transport conductor comprises an elongated core made of a core material and an elongated conductive sheath made of a conductive material. The elongated conductive sheath is located around the elongated core and is made of different layers of strands, consisting of a set of strands located next to each other. The cores are made in such a shape that for the cross section of the core, the circumscribed circle is filled with only 50 to 90% of the core material. The cross section of the core has a central part filled with a core, and a plurality of protrusions with one or more depressions between the protrusions, or the cross section of the core has one or more hollow sections formed by the outer part of the core. Wherein the shape of the protrusions and these depressions or the shape of one or more hollow sections and outer parts of the cores is such that there are gaps between the cores that are not occupied by the material of the core, at least in the area of one or more depressions or one or more sections.
EFFECT: reduction of the level of noise causing interference without increasing the mass of the conductor.
