FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment, namely, to means of surveying support. Substance of the claimed invention is as follows. The roll and pitch angle sensor, constituting a hollow spherical tank body half-filled with an optically transparent liquid, includes a sensing element (float) with a reflective bottom surface; a photodetector matrix with a centrally positioned optical emission source; and a computing apparatus. Said float is made in the form of a disk with the lower surface thereof made reflective for the set optical emission range. The tank body is half-filled with an optically transparent liquid so that the reflecting surface of the float passes through the centre of the tank body, and the source and receiver of optical emission are installed in the lower body. The roll and pitch angles are determined by the computing apparatus depending on the position of the projection of the optical beam reflected by the float on the photodetector matrix.
EFFECT: possibility of simultaneously determining the roll and pitch angles of a mobile object and the increments therein in motion.
