FIELD: information authentication.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of information authentication, in particular to a method for authentication of near-field information. The method contains stages of: reception of information about the current location of an object to be authenticated, with subsequent determination of a raster region of a target, where the object is located; reception of an information authentication request sent by a service terminal of the target in the raster region of the target; determination, from the first correlation table related to the raster region of the target and in accordance with information about the service terminal of the target, of permissible users of the service terminal of the target, and determination of biometrical information of corresponding permissible users; personal authentication in accordance with current biometrical information of the object and biometrical information of corresponding permissible users. In the method, authentication of information about the object to be authenticated is performed based on current biometrical information of the object, and, thus, the user does not need to show a physical identification card, which simplifies an information authentication process and improves interaction with the user during information authentication. Information about the current location of the object is sent to a server only when the object is in a predetermined range of business allowed by the use to guarantee confidentiality of the location of the user.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency and convenience of operation of an authentication process.
