AQUEOUS COMPOSITION FOR DETECTION OF SEEPAGE OF PHYSIOLOGICAL FLUIDS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61K49/00

Abstract RU 2788001 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of solutions relates to medicine, namely to an aqueous composition for detection of seepage of pancreatic juice and a method for determination of a seepage site, using the proposed composition. The aqueous composition for detection of seepage of pancreatic juice contains from 5 to 25% by wt. of a gel-forming agent increasing viscosity of the composition, wherein the specified gel-forming agent is microspheres of crosslinked starch or crosslinked dextran, where a degree of crosslinking, expressed as the mass ratio of linker:starch or as the ratio of linker:dextran, is from 12 to 20% by wt., buffer substances, while a buffer concentration is from 0.1 to 30 mM, and, thus, the specified composition is buffered. At the same time, the specified composition additionally contains from 0.001 to 0.5% by wt. of pH identifier, while pH of the composition is at least 0.1 pH unit lower or higher than pKa of pH identifier, while pH of the composition is from 4 to 6, and pKa of pH identifier is from 6 to 8. A method for detection of seepage of pancreatic juice in a complex with a surgery on the pancreas includes application of the aqueous composition for detection of seepage of pancreatic juice to the pancreas during the surgery on the pancreas, and detection and localization of possible seepage of pancreatic juice on a surface of tissue of the pancreas by change in color of the aqueous composition for detection of seepage of pancreatic juice.

EFFECT: above-described group allows for creation of an aqueous composition for detection of seepage of pancreatic juice, which allows for fast and precise determination of a specific site of localization of seepage.
